2022 NSC Safety Congress & Expo - San Diego

Health & Safety Guidelines
Together again, safely!

Updated: December 8, 2021

The National Safety Council (NSC) is excited to welcome our attendees to the annual NSC Safety Congress & Expo at the San Diego Convetion Center in San Diego, CASeptember 16-22. NSC is committed to creating an event experience where our participants, partners and employees can safely and effectively conduct business, network and learn.

As America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate, we will continue to follow scientific research and data to put health and safety first, just as we have for over 100 years. Which is why the National Safety Council will require proof of vaccination and face masks to be worn at this year’s NSC Safety Congress & Expo.

We have a comprehensive EHS event management plan in place to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending the NSC Safety Congress & Expo. We are working closely with the San Diego Convention Center and taking extra precautions. Please note these safety and health measures will evolve based on current CDC recommendations and any building, city, state and federal mandates.

Highlighted below are some of the safety and health measures that will be implemented at the 2022 NSC Safety Congress & Expo

Proof of vaccination requirement

Face mask requirement

Daily health checks

Enhanced ventilation practices

Regular cleaning protocols

Safe distancing practices

Limited room occupancies

Safe traffic flow patterns

We encourage individuals who will not be able to provide proof of vaccination to explore the many educational resources NSC has available online. As safety leaders, we share a common understanding that vaccinations are a key component of a robust safety protocol for in-person engagements.

In addition, by participating in-person, you understand and acknowledge that you risk exposure to and contraction of potentially dangerous disease (COVID-19). You understand and acknowledge the risks associated with diseases and viruses and you are fully aware that exposure may result in, including without limitation, infection, illness, injury, or otherwise. In consideration of the above, you hereby release National Safety Council of any liability related to your attendance.
